Why do you work in the Health & Fitness industry?
I have grown up playing sport and enjoying an active lifestyle, which I found has taught me so many valuable lessons and shaped me as a person. I love the way physical activity and exercise can improve your mental health and reduce the stress in your life, whilst also improving your physical health and reducing your risk of injury/chronic disease development. You always have a sense of accomplishment following a session, which I love.
What are you training for?
I don’t really train for anything specific, I enjoy training to maintain and improve my health and also use it as a social outlet.
What is your typical training week?
I often walk/run with my dog 4-5 days a week, and also try to fit in an overall body strengthening and conditioning session in the gym twice a week.
What is your favourite/least favourite exercise?
I really enjoy going for walks, around Mount Panorama is always fun.
I don’t enjoy burpees at all!
‘Go to’ healthy meal/my best cheat meal?
Eating Good – Salad bowl with chicken, roast vegetables, brown rice and leafy greens.
Guilty Pleasure – My weakness is definitely anything chocolate.
