Dietitians are university-qualified professionals accredited with Dietitians Australia, they provide evidence-based nutrition knowledge, and strategies, and work alongside you to achieve your health and wellness goals.

We work with a wide range of clients, including people of all ages and at different life stages, and can address a variety of concerns, including nutrition deficiencies, menopause, preventative health, bone health, weight management, and special diets such as vegetarian and vegan. Rebound Dietitians use evidence-based practices and work closely with clients to ensure they receive the support and guidance they need to achieve their goals.

What to expect?

We don’t believe in diets or short-term ‘challenges’ but rather lifestyle modifications and sustainable changes to your current habits to assist you in achieving your goals.

Strategies and considerations we utilise may include macronutrient and micronutrient needs, body image, sleep, stress, physical activity levels, family/living situation, gut health, mindful eating strategies, food habits, motivations, hormone levels and nutrient deficiencies, and food education to give you skills to manage your nutrition for life.

- Initial assessment: 60 minute 1:1 consultation with an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (APD) discussing your personal health and diet history and collaboratively working on a plan to assist in achieving your health and nutrition goals.

- Follow-up consultations: 30-60 minutes discussing and modifying goals, providing nutrition education, assessing nutrition intake and strategies to aim to implement.

  • It is best to speak to your GP about your nutrition or weight concerns. You may be eligible for Medicare care plans depending on your GP’s discretion.

  • If dietetics is part of your cover, then we can process the rebate on the spot at your appointment.

  • No this isn’t necessary; we spend the time in the initial appointment to discuss your eating habits and general day-to-day variabilities. Although if you would find this useful to remember your intake then please bring it along!
