These specific medical conditions may include

- Mental health/PTSD

- Knee, back, shoulder pain/injury

- Heart disease, hypertension

- Osteoarthritis

Entitled Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) clients may be referred for clinically necessary treatment by their general practitioner on a valid D904 referral form.

Gold card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment covered by DVA’s health care arrangements for all health conditions. White card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment for an accepted condition.

We’ve been providing DVA Exercise Physiology sessions on the Northern Beaches for 15 years and our exercise physiologists have experience working with people with a range of abilities, injuries and medical conditions.

We have the capacity to tailor your specific needs and level depending on the line of treatment that you may require, making sure that you’re looked after and working at the right intensity for you.

We work very closely with our dietitians, physios, chiros and OT’s and can help you with any concerns or needs you may have in other areas.


  • Yes, you will need a D904 referral from your GP to engage in exercise physiology.

  • Please wear something you are comfortable moving in and your referral form

  • You can discuss with your exercise physiologist about what is most appropriate for you. It is common for clients to attend either once or multiple times per week or fortnightly.
