Josh Bannister
Head of Physiotherapy
Josh is passionate about getting you pain-free, stronger and confident to return to the activities you love doing. He prides himself on seeing anyone or anything that walks through the door, but has a special interest in treating runners, osteoarthritis and lower back pain.
He is an avid runner and played 20+ years of football, so he’s aware both professionally and personally of the common injuries involved in these spaces and the desire to return as quickly as possible.
Josh completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University in 2017. He’s loved calling Rebound home for the past 3 years and leading the physiotherapy team here. Prior to that, he developed a wide range of experience in the public health setting across major hospitals and rehabilitation. He’s been lucky enough to work in Intensive-Care Units, Burns wards, musculoskeletal outpatients and post-surgical areas.
When he’s not working, you see him running, enjoying a coffee, reading a crime thriller or getting in the ocean (typical Northern Beaches style).
