Head of Occupational Therapy

I qualified as an occupational therapist in the UK in 2016 and gained experience working in adult rehabilitation, with clients with a range of conditions including stroke, acquired and traumatic brain injury, other neurological conditions, and orthopaedic conditions. In 2017, I moved to Australia and worked in community health before moving into mental health where I have worked for the past 3 years. I have experience in the delivery of group and individual treatment incorporating strategies such as mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy and graded exposure. I am passionate about working collaboratively with clients to work towards practical and meaningful goals.

I was inspired to pursue a career in occupational therapy after seeing the amazing work occupational therapists did with my brother after he sustained a brain injury. I am a big believer in exercise and nature as therapy and outside of work you’ll most likely find me running, cycling or swimming at the beach.
