Why Little Lily Pads?

Preschool aged children (1-5 years) should be active for a minimum of 3 hrs/day spread-out throughout the day, with 1 hr being structured exercise.

However, 3–5-year-olds are averaging around 43 minutes of every hour as sedentary.

As activity in childhood encourages activity in adulthood, increasing this duration is of utmost importance.

Rebound’s Exercise Physiologists are accredited physicians qualified to cater for your little ones needs.

Little Lily Pads aims to provide accessible exercise classes for kids that are fun & enjoyable so they can develop a lifelong healthy relationship with exercise and physical activity.

Pilates has been shown to improve all 5 areas of development

Pilates can also help boost your child's concentration, focus, and self-awareness, which can come in handy in school and beyond.
And the best part? Kids Pilates is fun! Your little ones will have a great time learning new moves and getting their bodies moving in a supportive and playful environment.

So why not give kids Pilates a try?
It's a win-win for both you and your kids!

Benefits of paediatric pilates

Hannah Tebbutt

“ Having worked with children in various settings, including preschools, I've developed a deep passion for providing exercise opportunities to young children.

Three years ago, I began my own Pilates journey and quickly fell in love with the practice. Not only did I notice a significant improvement in my muscle strength, but I also experienced increased mental focus and concentration outside of my sessions - all critical elements for children's development.

This experience ignited a desire within me to share the benefits of Pilates with children, and I'm thrilled to bring my knowledge and passion to our Little Lily Pads class.

It's my goal to inspire a lifelong love of exercise in children while also fostering their physical, mental, and emotional well-being ".
